Overview

This is a close-up introduction to Africa’s largest land animal. With the carers who look after them, you meet a habituated herd, learn each elephant’s history and personality, and see how they are fed and cared for. Your guides explain elephant behaviour, communication and the conservation challenges they face across the region.

The encounter is led by the elephants’ own routine and their carers’ guidance. It’s calm, respectful and deeply memorable, and it often changes how guests watch wild elephants afterwards.

Prices are in US$ per person and include VAT. The park, conservation or activity levy is paid separately. Rates are valid until December 2026 and all activities are subject to availability.
